Ever since I was a kid, I have always been passionate about photography. I love capturing memories that we can hold onto. Pictures are like tiny time capsules that serve as lasting reminders of the moments in our lives. To share my love for this hobby, I decided to pursue photography as a second occupation, offering affordable services to those interested. I understand that professional photography can be expensive due to the hours of editing, the various software required, the cost of cameras and lenses, and the time involved. However, since this is my “extra” career, I am able to provide more affordable rates. This allows me to do what I love while helping you preserve your memories for years to come!
FAQS:
How many photos will I receive?
For 1 hour sessions or longer you will receive all usable photos. For 30 minute sessions I guarantee a minimum of 5-10 beautiful photos.
How does payment work?
I require a 50% deposit as well as a signed contract. Once the contract is signed I will send you an invoice. The remaining 50% is due at minimum 1 week before the session.
How long does it take to get my gallery back?
For sessions: 1-3 weeks is my turnaround time for most sessions.
For engagements and elopements: 3-8 weeks! You will receive a bunch of sneak peeks within 72 hours to enjoy while I finish your complete gallery.
How would you describe your “style”
I provide a mix of giving directions and posing prompts while also getting those in between candid moments along the way!
My editing style combines natural light, enhanced color and warmth.
How should I dress for my session?
I suggest wearing what you are most comfortable in 🙂 The best way to capture beautiful memories is for you to be yourself! I recommend solid colors or minimal patterns to ensure nothing clashes with the scenery. Some people rock jeans and a t shirt others prefer a suit and tie! You cannot go wrong with your style. If you need more guidance I am happy to send style guide suggestions your way!
What does the military discount look like?
My standard military discount is 25% off all packages excluding the LIKE IT elopement package
How do I know how long of a session I need?
Maternity: I recommend a minimum of 1 hour if you have children you want present for this session to give us enough time. If this is a first time kiddo announcement then 30 minutes is plenty 🙂
Elopements: I recommend a minimum of 2 hours
Portraits: I typically stick to 30 minutes depending on what you are looking for with the portraits. For graduations you may want more photos which requires more time.
Family: I require a minimum of 1 hour due to the number of people involved and kiddos around. This gives us a flexible time to ensure a good quantity of quality photos.
Engagements: 1 hour of photography is required. This is a BIG milestone and you will want a good amount of quality photos to look back on throughout the engagement and years to come. Therefore I stick to a 1 hour policy to ensure we have plenty of photos for you 🙂
